Telsmith, Inc., an Astec company, recently introduced the H2550-PP-VGF portable plant, offering a low cost alternative to track mobile crushing plants. When constant on-site track mobility is not required, the H2550-PP-VGF allows the portable contractor to meet production requirements with lower mobilization and operating costs, as well as, lower capital cost. SBM can supply you Raymond mill, portable crusher plant, etc.
When equipped with diesel power and hydraulic leveling, the self contained H2550-PP-VGF can go into production within 30 minutes of arriving on-site.
The H2550-PP-VGF offers several benefits over the track mobile approach:
- Low Mobilization Costs: With a compact design, the H2550-PP-VGF is easily towed from job site to job site without the need for special trailers.
- Quick Start-up: Tthe self contained portable can begin production within 30 minutes of arrival at the site.
- Low Operating Costs: No tracks or track power systems to purchase and maintain.
- Improved Maintenance Access: The open design provides improved access to maintenance areas including conveyor, engine, drives, etc., plus easy access under the plant for cleanup.
Equipped with a 9-1/2 yd3 dump hopper, quarry duty 48” x 16’ grizzly feeder and Hydra-Jaw H2550 jaw crusher, the new portable crusher plant is designed to perform reliably in recycled concrete, quarry stone or sand & gravel applications. The on-board 48” wide, end discharge conveyor incorporates 5” CEMA “C” idlers, 3-ply belting, belt scraper and 30 Hp hydraulic drive. When applied in a typical sand & gravel application, overall plant production is capable of exceeding 500 tph.
The Hydra-Jaw custom hydraulic toggle provides hydraulic adjust, relief and chamber clearing to improve efficiency and up-time availability.
The advanced H2550 Hydra-Jaw is the latest development in a long line of proven Telsmith jaw crushers. Incorporating a custom designed hydraulic toggle, the Hydra-Jaw delivers greater up-time availability while yielding lower operating costs. Just as the modern cone crusher uses hydraulic adjustment, tramp iron relief and chamber clearing to achieve greater efficiency, so too does the Hydra-Jaw.
- Hyd. Adjustment changes the setting in moments, eliminating up to an hour of maintenance time for each setting adjustment
- Hyd. Relief protects parts from failure when tramp iron passes through the crusher, saving thousands of dollars and eliminating extended repair downtime with each occurrence.
- Hyd. Chamber Clearing clears the crusher of stone in as little as 15 minutes, eliminating extensive downtime and loss of production. Instead of spending a shift digging out the crusher, an operator can use wireless controls to clear the crusher from a remote location.
Using wireless controls, an operator can engage the chamber clearing system from inside the loader cab, clearing the crusher in minutes.
When equipped for self contained operation, the H2550-PP-VGF is powered by an on-board CAT, C7, 275 Hp diesel engine with 100 gallon fuel tank (an optional all electric plant option is available including electric motors, starters and wiring). A hydraulic clutch engages the crusher drive while engine mounted hydraulic pumps provide power to the vibrating feeder, conveyor and other optional items. Simple on-board push button controls are standard.
The optional wireless controller provides remote control for E-stop, individual equipment on/off buttons and hydraulic chamber clearing control. This allows the loader operator to clear the crusher, without leaving the cab, and get back into production in minutes.
